Dear Yves, I so enjoyed watching you play on this video. I can see just how at home you are with your guitar. I can see the music flow from the soul right to the strings. How beautiful you play. I am in awe of your talent. Can't wait to hear the new CD when you finish. God Bless you, my friend.

Yves, I finally got a chance to really take a good listen to your New CD “Une Table Pour Deux!” Its one of your best! I really dug the last tune “Having Too Much Fun” ... real funky ... kinda 70s. It was nice at the end. Your sudden endings on “Lavender Fields” and “A Lively Conversation” were really cool. Really dug your leads on the first tune “This Gentle Side Of You” especially when you got up around the 12th fret (I think) and “To My Love” was really relaxing. Your material is very strong.
Curious ... what make of guitar did you use to play on this CD? The recording quality was really amazing.
OK gotta go brother. Regards, Michael. www.michaelzcummings.com
Saw and heard your music at Seaport Village San Diego Sunday Oct. 2, 2010. My father is receiving his bone marrow transplant, 3 week stay in the hospital. He loves your music, said it brought tears to his eyes, the nurses are asking about the beautiful music. Adjectives to describe your music...heavenly, beautiful, God inspired, magical. Thank you for sharing, what a talent. God Bless, Cheryl S. Ft. Worth, Tx
Dear Yves, it’s as if you said, “Sandy, I’m going to record a CD for you, what songs would you like on it?” I saw you performing at Seaport Village in San Diego on Sept 25th (or it may have been 26th) and bought one of your albums, although I must say I had a hard time choosing just one but I chose “Time For Us”.
The renditions touched my heart and so reminded me of my husband of 55 years who recently passed away. Especially “Longer Than”, played at our 50th wedding anniversary celebration. And I loved “You Raise Me Up”. I loved Josh Grobin’s (sp?) sensuous voice and your interpretation was equally moving. And “Vincent” a long time favorite of mine as is “The Prayer”, which I had the privilege of seeing Andre Bocelli & Celine Dion perform this spiritual rendition (on TV) and loved “Music of the Night” bringing back memories of “Phantom of the Opera” which I have seen three times!
Loved your thoughts on the back of the front label, surmising from those that you are a Christian, making this album that much more dear to me.
Thanks again for some enjoyable listening moments.
Sincerely, Sandy J. Portland, OR
Hey Yves, do you remember that guy with the long hair that went up to you, and bought one of your CD’s on Saturday? Yup, it’s me. I want to let you know that I absolutely LOVED your Eventide CD. My whole family really found it amazing. I’ll try to learn the scales you showed me as soon as possible. Your music is very inspiring, I hope to hear more music from you. I’ll be sure to buy more soon.
Hope to hear from you soon. - Roy Ramos
My special hello to you both!
You must be in my circle of caring. We just arrived home from Houston, Texas yesterday. I cannot tell you the number of times I continue to play your music (Amen!!!) I constantly reminisce back to when we saw you in Palm Springs. There was that special connection with you both then. Dan and I both continue each day to relax to your CD’s. Are you still down in Palm Springs? I would love to meet up with you again some time soon. Where are you performing lately? You are the BEST in our world and for many others out there.
Again, just a reminder you are in our thoughts after a year in Palm Springs. Keep up the good work.
Please, sometime play my special request (How Great Thou Art). That’s for me. Any new CD’s coming out? Friends Forever.Donna & Dan Elms in Calgary, Canada
I must say...your music is absolutely exquisite; pure beauty to the soul. Not sure which on I love best, but I know the more I listen to each one - that one will become my new favorite. I’ve listened to “Back To Eden” 3 times now. I thank you again, Yves, for sending me “My Beloved’s Garden” ... Blessings, Judy.
Hello,
My husband & I arranged a getaway to Palm Springs for several days around New Year’s Eve. We heard about the VillageFest street fair & were surprised that it was happening on January 1, 2009 at 6pm. It was a very chilly evening as we strolled the fair. We suddenly were aware of this beautiful music coming from one of the booths up ahead. The first sounds we were aware of drew us to the booth. There, my husband met a charming gentleman, the maker of this compelling, gentle music. CD’s were flying out of the booth as others lined up to peruse & purchase the smooth jazz sounds of Yves Vincent and his guitar.
We returned home the next day & immediately began to listen to the two CDs we had purchased. This dreamy music had us enthralled. My husband quickly got on the internet & visited the website. Hearing more of this magical music on the site, he called & ordered different CDs than he had purchased originally. We are smooth jazz fans and we feel that we have found the most beautiful music to enjoy in our home & vehicles. The familiar tunes that we heard had very original arrangements that are pleasing to the ear. The other, unfamiliar tunes were a welcome discovery.
We are so glad we discovered Yves Vincent’s music on that very cold winter night at the VillageFest in Palm Springs. The frozen hands & noses were forgotten as we listened to the warm sounds of his guitar.
Lovely, just lovely. What a great way to start the new year!
Thank you, Mr. Vincent. We’ll be watching for more of your original music. Gary & Donna
Dear Yves:
Just thought I would mention that I “found” your music last week at an unusual place. Not the typical music or variety store, but at my barber’s in Menlo Park. I was sitting in the barber chair listening to this wonderful guitar and when I heard “How Great Thou Art “ playing, I knew I just had to have that album.
So my barber, Moses (that’s his real name) goes in the back, gets your Amen! CD cover and gives me your website address. I went home and ordered 5 CDs. Two days later, it’s here!!! I have my own music and I love ALL the albums. Many thanks and Happy Holidays. -Owen-
While at the Tall Ships Festival in San Diego 2008, I heard the most beautiful music and gravitated to its source. There, I met Yves and was mesmerized. I bought Eventide and took it back to my sailboat and listened to that CD over and over and over the whole afternoon. I went back the next day to buy 4 more CD’s! What a talent and Yves has added so much joy to my life! Thank you, thank you! Jean Swink
Dear Yves, Indeed! You are a BEAUTIFUL guitar player - I loved listening to your gorgeous music on such a wonderful day. Every note you play is honest, there’s no bullshit to your playing. Tres bien! Please let me know when you’re going to be in Los Angeles again.

Hey Yves, I met you 3 years ago in San Diego at Seaport Village, this beautiful place by the harbor. My girl and I were on a cruise, she was buying coffee and I heard your music and feel in love with it instantly. I purchased “Frolicking ...just jazzin’ around” and I play it today like it’s brand new! Clients who visit my site love it as well . As we discussed I did include your link on my site. I even wrote a paragraph about you.
I love your original music what do you recommend I purchase ....has your music been played on the air it should... Looking forward to hearing from you. You can hear your song on my site and read about yourself go to www.derrylbarnes.com click on ABOUT/CLOTHING and scroll to the bottom of the section.

My wife and I met you at the Palm Springs street fair in March, 2008. I was so taken by your music that we purchased 6 of your CDS. This is the most beautiful music we have ever heard. We haven’t stopped listening to it since we bought it. Thank you for using your gift to bring joy to others lives. Ross Thompson
My job is to make sure planes arrive and leave safely on a US Navy Carrier. It’s a high-stress job and at the end of the day when I go down to my quarters, I put your music on. In minutes, all the stress accumulated seems to vanish completely out of my body and I can relax. Thank you! Keep playing the good stuff. —Commander Ron Tulimann, U.S. Navy
I purchased a couple of your CD’s at one of the many trade shows we do... don’t remember which one...I think San Jose Harvest Festival... anyway, I had a very VERY hectic week and I had just experienced a previous nights rest of over 12 hours because I was soooo tired. It made me feel a little mellow to say the least so I started listening to your CD again. Wow... I really enjoy your sound. Just wanted to share that the CD’s I purchased have benefited me and those in my home so much. God Bless you! Mark Sullivan
Yves, your music simply transports me mentally to pleasant places - thank you :-) Additionally your sentiments written to me on the cd’s we bought were sooo fitting. if i read your seniments correctly it went something like “gentle feelings in your soul.” Thank you for the lovely interlude in a life often filled with things sometimes not so pleasant. So nice to meet kindred spirits.

Ustad Ali Akbar Khan and Ravi Shankar are part of a great classical legacy from India. I share the privilege of being a part of their family and a music critic/writer in my own right. Yves, you manifest a rare sweetness and detail in your music. It is a joy to hear Eventide and LoveScapes. Thanks for the music.—Lajo Gupta, California
Mr. Vincent, I picked up your CD The Blue Zone at the in Palm Springs a few weeks back. This is a fabulous compilation of great music! As a guitarist myself I am blown away by your tone and arrangements. In a word it’s inspirational. Thanks so much! Mark Webber
