He moved in Houston, Texas in 1984 and in 1985, he purchased a master 24-track recording studio. His production company Music Media Productions specialized in music for television and radio commercials and he won several ADDY and A.I.R. awards for Best Jingle and Best Production for TV and radio advertising. He sold his business in mid-1990 and moved to San Diego, California for a well deserved break.
He started composing and recording his own music featuring himself as a guitarist. He has produced 10 CDs which feature many of his original compositions.
"At this time in my life, I am using all aspects of my musical and music business experience.
I love music with the smooth jazz/R & B feel behind. There's a whole new way to express myself in it and so I compose a lot ... over 58 pieces so far and three smooth jazz CDs: "Frolicking ... just jazzin' around" ... "The Blue Zone" and the recent one "Une Place Pour Deux!"
I have taken the best of these three CDs, added new colors on some of them, remixed and remastered the whole CD. These songs are the ones I have the most reactions to when I perform them live.
No wonder I call it "The Good Life!" There is one song left to re-record, mix and master and it's done. It is scheduled to be out in Fall of 2011.
Yves will be starting a series of concerts as a smooth jazz guitarist.
Look for "The Good Life!" coming soon.
